Community BINs

Badge images built and shared by the community. Anyone can submit one — and anyone can flash them here, over Web Serial, the same way as the main catalog.

Unlike the main firmware catalog — every image there is hardware-verified — nothing on this page has been tested or vetted by Retia. A community image may not boot, may behave unexpectedly, may be transmit- or attack-capable, or may leave the badge needing manual recovery (hold GPIO_0, tap RESET). Flash these only on a badge you own, and only if you accept that risk. The site will ask you to confirm before every community flash. If one bricks the boot, recover and flash a known-good image from the main catalog.

Submit your own image

Built something for the badge? Share it — no git, no pull request. Fill in a short form, attach your firmware, and a maintainer validates it and adds it here for you (still labelled untested).

  • Project name
  • Link to your source (a public repo)
  • What it does — a sentence or two
  • Your firmware file — drag the merged factory.bin right into the form (zip it first; GitHub blocks bare .bin)

  1. A maintainer downloads your file and checks it's a real, flashable badge image.
  2. They add it to the Community BINs list with a hash so the flasher can verify it.
  3. It shows up on this page — still labelled untested — on the next build.
